❑ This section aims to align with
the research-based culture
section, but it differs significantly
by presenting an applied version
that is integral to research and
development (R&D). The
objective is to organize the
grassroots associations of
Afocha in a manner that
addresses contemporary issues
while adapting to the current
socio-economic environment, all
in accordance with traditional
Islamic values.
❑ This approach should also extend
to the interest group associations
of Mugad. By doing so, these
efforts may enhance the
traditional roles of the
associations within civil society.
There should be initiatives to
empower Harari communities by
promoting the organizational
structure of Harari professionals
and activists (influencers). This
can aid in talent mapping and
strengthening leadership within
the community.
❑ Additionally, it is important to
disseminate information by
conducting or sponsoring
presentations on topics that
significantly impact the assertion
of Harari social identity and the
protection of Harari social
security. These topics may
include history, language, religion,
politics, demography, public
health, and the economy.
❑ Utilizing mass media platforms
such as IHMS and HarariMoy/
Day to promote outreach efforts
for social change is crucial.
HarariMoy serves as a significant
event that fosters social solidarity
among community members.
However, these platforms require
reform. Specifically, they should
include discussion forums and
should not be limited in terms of
location or frequency.
